I was searching for some definitive answer but couldn't find any that actually diagrammed (this looks like it's spelled incorrectly... nonetheless...) the install.

I want to at least attempt to put some puddle lamps on the ST. However, previous posts mentioned the different colored wires, the harness, etc. Has anyone recently done this mod and for some odd reason taken photos? Or, does anyone live anywhere in the Northeastern US (PA/NJ/NY) area that has done this and would want to attack a project like this during the early summer?

I am fairly competent with installing items that don't belong on X's, but I always fear electrical items. I'd hate to blow a major harness and drop $500 for a new one...

Once you have the mirrors that have the lights in them you'll see two wires comming from the light. One goes to ground and the other one goes to the interior lights wire.
You'll need a wire tester (unless you know the color already) & pull off an interior light to see what color wire it uses. You can find & connect to that wire in the channel under the door step plate.
Only real problem I had (Iwas running wires for the mirror turn singal lights) was getting the wire through the rubber tube between the door & body.
Front door panels come off and the step plate comes off and the mirror is changed. It will take an afternoon but isnt hard.
