F-150 coil seats on a Ram Charger

I am on here all the time and was thinking about doing the coil seats to the explorer and I have a friend who has a ram charger and was wondering if anyone knew if the coil seats would fit on hi 89 2wd ram charger

Just look at the bottom coil retainer and see how big it is diameter wise.
I am guessing it might work with a little modification, the spring seats are designed to "lock in place" where the TTB meets the radius arm, but that tab could be ground off.
Its basically just a 1.5" tall piece of metal with a hole in it for the bolt to pass through and a large enough top for the bottom of the coil to sit on.....
