F150 coil seats and springs

So i searched up the idea about the F150 coil seats. My friend at the junkyard said if i pulled them i could have them for free since nobody ever wants him. He also said for the springs i could have them for like 5 for both. Will these springs fit my 94 ford explorer 4.0? Also would it give more lift? Thanks and also what year F150 does this have to come off of?

One of my friends used them and has not had a problem yet.

I used f150 springs but not the spring seats.

buy the 3 or 4 degree camber bushings too. I also used 21" pro comp shocks that i can't evaluate yet. Not enough miles. so far so good after i got the right shocks.

The spring seats have been done many times and is known to be alignable and you can't beat free. There isn't enough info on the f-150 springs being alignable.

As for the autozone shackles.. some have used them, and some have added a cross brace to them to help stiffen them up. It really depends on what you use it for. Personally, I'd add some material to them (autzone ones) or get a set of Warrior or possibly Copperhead brand shackles.
