I wondering if anyone has used this suspention system in there exploror or mounty. i want to turn my mounty into a prerunner and wondering if anyones tried it. heres a link to the suspention

http://www.fabtechmotorsports.com/html/ford2wdrangerexplorer.html

click on 83-97 ranger and then on 5.5 preformance. I was thinking of I could make my own suspention but that would take me ages. and probibly more money than im willing to spend. Im doing this on a 97 mounty
thanks for any feedback

Won't work

83-97 rangers use twin I-beams for the front suspension. 2nd Gen Exploders and Mounty's us A arms.

You can use the spindles that are listed for the Edge. Or you can get the Superlift 4" kit.

I wanted a fabtech suspemsion but they are very pricey

thanks

Yewah i wasnt sure if it was an adapter or something , Ill probibly will end up getting the superlift kit thanks for the help

camburg has a new kit out for the edge, it give 10" of wheel travel. they actually cycled 12" but strapped it at 10" because the upper arm will hit and dent the shock cans.
the kit is the toughest kit you can get for your money, but only 2wd.
