Factory JBL CD player

Howdy. My '93 Limited has a factory Ford/JBL CD player. But whenever I slam the door or hit a minor bump in the road, the sound skips or turns down the volume for about a second. It does it whether its playing a CD or tuning on FM. What could it be? Thanks.

Does it happen to one speaker or to all speakers at one time? If it's only one then you got a loose connection to that speaker. If it's all the speakers then you got a loose connection in the back of your JBL stereo.
