hey all, newbie here, my name is bob and have a 1996 explorer sport, 2 wheel dr. 4.0 v6.
I would like to drop in my built up 289 with 4 speed t-10 in to the truck... any suggestions? no vet testing here, carb no EFI so no problem.

People put the 302 in their explorers and rangers all the time. Their is a kit for it. I would start with that. I'm sure you are going carberated, but that makes it even simpler...like a 65 falcon.
