Fans for Transmission cooler

Yea the main power for the fans is from the under hood fusebox, right off the mega fuse. The switch is powered from the fuse labeled radio inside the cabin. But having read this thread I am planning on moving power to the switch to the 4WD pigtail.

Most typical relays take very little current to trigger them. If the 4WD wiring has a current in it, that should trigger your relay. The oil pressure wires are out near the battery and PDB, not hard to access when you find where they run there.

Found one. I used a space in the fuse box that is labeled "unused" and is switched with the ignition switch. I put wire into it and ran it to the switch. Works great. Fans work great, keep things cool, and they go off with the ignition so I don't have to worry about forgetting to shut them off.

Good News.

Take a picture and post it?

That way it can be marked Solved for future reference.

Good idea, I'll get right on that. :)
