Well I knew that I had atleast a joint gone bad in the steeting, 2 weeks ago I took off the tire and the left outter tie-rod was shot, so I thought that this was my problem, well its wasnt but it needed to be changed. It's so hard to find out which joint has failed, but I got it..took off the right outter joint and rocked the steering wheel, and still heard the knocking, took off the left outter joint and didnt hear it anymore, so I guees it was my inner tie-rod.
Question: Is it possible to change the outter tie-rods without the "special" tool?
I ordered 2 inner rods for $44.00 each and it should be here sometime next week.
I can't seem to find any how-to pictures on here, so I might take pictures while im doing it if i remember.
