This is a happy day. Finally, I've gotten done with what I've set out to do (so far, at least!). After completing the TT/Shackles/DBL AAL, I was able to order my tires and rims: Pro Comp AT 32's on some 589's. I had originally wanted BFG's....badly. But Sk1er17 talked me out of those, saying the Pro Comp was more aggressive than it looked online, and that it's performance was excellent. I saved a bunch of $$$ too, thanks to 4wp's sale. Check em' out:

Looks good. Would be awesome after you washed the blue off.

Yea like there was any doubt of you getting these online tonight  , lol i knew you were gonna rush home to do it!

And SSSHHHHHHHHHHH... dont say "i talked you outta BFG's" like they're a bad tire. You know guys are gonna attack me now that think BFG's are god.

For the Record:
BFG's are great tires

I told him not to look past the Pro-Comps though cause:
They are much more aggressive than appear online
Ive witnessed them first hand performing as good if not better than Duelers
I showed him video of my buddy going through 2 feet of crap with them
And they turned out to be much cheaper

whew... ok just had to get that out!

Looks Great billy... just clean off the blue stuff ;)

how does it ride with the double aal?

Looks beefy!

Yeah, I know that the blue just smacks of new, but I just couldn't wait. Aside from letting it wear itself off, will a good scrub job do the trick? Procomp went a little nuts with the blue---it's all over the place. As far as the AAL's are concerned: I was a little apprehensive about them because I had heard from other board members that they were VERY stiff. I found this not to be true---yeah, you definately notice that the ride is a bit firmer, but it's not like your being bounced outta your seat every time you hit a bump. To make matters better, once I put the new tires on, they seemed to absorb even more of the "stiffness".....I really like the way it rides.

Thanks for all the compliments too! Feels good! :bounce:

Snocross....

....what kind of sled is that?

1994 Yamaha Vmax 600 twin. She's getting a brand new rear suspension and some pipes this summer :)

Very nice....If we got more snow here, I'd buy a sled in a heartbeat (that's the ONLY reason I'd wish for more snow)...but since I'm by the water, I'm your close cousin in that I have/modify/race Jet Ski's. Some of Yamaha's new sleds are just sick!

he'll rub with some flexing for sure. you can see what he had to trim from his pics... a decent amount; but not noticable from the exterior.

no rubbing with 32's and no BL? interesting...

Not on the pavement at least....we'll see what happens off road, but for now I'm pleased that it's clearing.

yea ur next mod will be the fenders afer you see mine on

I just got a phone call:... tires will be here tomorrow morning!!! :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

maybe i should put them on and trim until my fenders arrive..... hmmmm maybe ill do that

Damn, how did they ship your stuff so quick? Didn't you, like, JUST order your tires? Yeah, I REALLY wanna see what fenders look like...do they actually come up higher over the wheel well?

oh yeah that thing looks very nice with those,

but yeah definitely wash the blue off!

now your Explorer looks tough like it should!

Warm soapy water works best with a scrub brush and the blue will come right off. It's just there to protect the while letters from getting scuffed.
