it took a while but i finally got all the parts together and lifted my sport with some 4dr leaf pack plus aal and a tt, and in the process changed lower ball joints, tierod ends, and spark plugs( i was almost time for those anyway). all it took was all f'ing weekend, 2 cans of pbblaster, 5 busted knuckles, 2- 12 packs of bud heavy, and a huge learning curve. but i must say when i stood back and looked "up" at my x it was all worth it! 31x10.50 , some steel rims(black) , sliders and "pre runner" bumpers are next! thank god i have a friend who can weld! thanks to every member of this site 'cause i couldnt have done it without the search feature. oh yeah sorry i didnt document the installs i didnt have the camera at the time plus i think evan did i fine job on the balljoints n tie rods, but enuff with the b/s heres some pics. hopefully these work sorry bout the pics my camera is a p.o.s. ill try to get better ones
oh yeah on my tt i got right under 2" on the drivers side but 2 1/4" on the pass. how bad will that fubar the cv axle? i know 2" is the high mark but is a1/4" too much? right now it is even all around, do i need to lower the front to keep from destroying the axles over time? thanx in adv.
