Go to a tire3 shop and they usually have a big bucket/pool type of thing. They just submerge the tire and watch for air bubbles.

You could also use a mixture of water and dishsoap and cover the tire with it. Then watch for small bubbles :D

One trick to find a leak is to dunk a tire in a water tank: look for bubbles.

I'd guess it's either a very small hole; a bad valve stem; or gunk in the bead messing with the seal.

well i have nothing to add

just hope the hole isn't in the sidewall

then you will be buying another tire

I patched the sidewall of a tire Moab 2001, actually 2 holes. Patched it ourselves on the trail and aired up. Tire was fine for another 6 months until I upgraded all 5.

ok i'll be stopping by ther local tire shop this weekend or if it's warm i'll be wetting down this tire and looking for the bubbles..
but new york is november is usually freezing so i'll be going to the tire shop out of lazyness and .

patch er up!!

FWIW When my tires have a slow leak, it has been, more often than not, a leak at the bead, often associated with the balance weights.

so your tires lost air because the balencing weights fell off.

because it seems that i have lost a few if not all my wheel weights the were the sticky ones and seem to fall off when i was wheeling in mud and on really rocky trails . and i think i lose then because i have the simulation beadlock wheels and i guess they can only use the ones that stick on. not the ones that clip on.
thanks again for your info.

No, not from losing the weights. It justs seems that these slow leaks show up (I pour soap solution over the tire) at the bead where the tire weights are clipped on. The tire shop never has trouble getting it to seal back up, though. If you have the stick on ones vs. the clip on weights, then it may not figure in to the equation.

sprayed windex on it stupid valve stem leaf so i tightened it back up fixed i think.
