First Oil Change

I took my '02 Explorer XLS to the Ford dealer today for the works package, oil change, tire rotation, etc.. They said the car seems to be in good condition except for a very small leak that did not need attention now, but just to keep an eye on it.. It has a leak coming from the oil pan.. To get the upper oil pan fixed I was quoted $800.00, to get the lower oil pan fixed I was quoted $200.00.. They did not say which one on the paperwork as I did not inquire at the dealership.. Later I called back to ask and was told the prices.. Curious if oil pan repairs typically cost this much to repair?

Lower seems quite pricey for the small amount of work required. As for the upper, you need to lift the engine a couple inches to clear the front driveshaft so the price is probably right.
