I purchased my 97 Ex 5.0 AWD last year and joined the group as soon as I found it. The winter wasn't very kind to me but it has been a blessing in disguise. After slideing sideways into a curb on a sheet of ice I am having "Rebecca" fixed up. Bent the control arm and the spring hangers. So with out any additional expense I am changing out the shackles to the WAR-153's and having the front TT. Not as much as some of my idles on this board but took my first baby step. Thanks group for all the write ups and guides for making the most out of this project. I dream of doing a frame off restoration but at this point just a dream. Next item will be Add-A-Leafs and 32x11.5x15 on 15x8 Dick Cepek rims. Will post photos of "Rebecca" as soon as she's out of the shop.

Sweet! Can't wait to see pics of "Rebecca" out of the shop!

Rebecca is out of the shop. The look and feel is great. I suggest that anyone that hasn't rebuilt the suspension on their 2nd gen trucks get it done. The response now is incredible.

I'll vouch for that, pretty much every suspension component on mine has been replaced and it drives AMAZINGLY with 191k lol how many miles on yours? looks like it's in pretty good shape
