Well here are some new pictures of my truck flexing with the new Deaver springs and the RCD traction bars on. I still have another 2" or so with the bars off. So I should have some super flex pics from T-haven...

Jefe,
You need something like this on your shackle. Then you won't "dig" into the trail.. you just kinda roll..
Naw. . .I like the sound of metal vs. rock :D

Besides, thats another inch of departure angle you loose, and I'm pretty sure that wheel wouldn't support the entire weight of my vehicle. . and I know I'd have to trail test it that way at least once :)

I'll get some photos this wwekend witht he front and rear swaybars discoed. It should help, since I was getting some serious tire rub in the upper wheel well in the back on full flexion. I'll post them when I get them.

I gladly give up the 1" of travel to have the shackle not get me stuck... (I had them get me stuck once.. low traction area and the shackle dug into a rock... I've done the same spot with the wheel and I have enough traction to pull me over with the wheel rolling instead of the shackel digging)..

Our X in wheeling trim is 5000 lbs... Those wheels do hold up the truck.. Granted.. the wheels bend.. but I don't care.. I just use a sledge on them once in a while (they still work fine bent)..

Also, When Yolanda out using the truck around town and someone asks her what that is.. She just says that she ran over a shopping cart... It really confuses people.. :)
