I just ordered my brand new leather seats( front and back) for my 98 XLT. The company shipped them this morning. I was thinking after i got them that i don't know how to get my old seats out and how to put these new ones in. I also wanted to know what you all thought was a fair price for my 98 cloth seats which are in perfect shape. HELP!!

It should be easy. You did not mention if they were electric or manual. If they ae manual ther shold be 4 bolts. Two in front, two in back. If the are electric there may be more bolts but I'm not for sure.

it souldent be hard. its just like 4 botls if they are manuel. if they are eletric its 4 bolts but the wireing is not hard at all, its just like a plastic plate with prongs sticking out that gointo a female adapter

WHat are the leather seats designed for (You're truck?)? how much did you spend (If you dont mind me asking)? and where did you order them from?

YOu could have gotten factory style leather covers to actually replace the cloth on your seats, so I'm just curious which route is better when mine are due for new leather.......

Ok, thanks i think i will go out and buy book about explorers to help me.The seats i bought were out of a 98 explorer. I bought the front seats for $665( the back seat was $175 more). They were on ebay and they have a really nice looking set on there right now. The seats had never been used. Both front seats have 6 way power with lumbar.The only reason i bought the whole seat is because i wanted 6 way power on the passenger side, or i would have gotten new covers. If i was you i would get new covers.

What do you think is a fair price for these?
2 sport buckets (grey cloth) 6 way driver with lumbar and manual passenger with lumbar.
1 60/40 bench
both in great condition?
