I tried asking in my other post but got no answer for sure.

I know it's 2.5 qts of dextron in my manual trans.

My question is can I run a qt of Lucas trans stuff for 1 qt of dextron?

The ranger forum I was on said it wouldn't be an issue, but I want y'all's opinion.

Thanks in advance,
J. Cribb

I'm sure you could but you may want to contact the manufacturer to be sure. I don't think there would be any benefit in mixing oils, though. I would think you would get full benefit of the product by using it 100%

Like engine oil, some people will put one qt of synthetic with the other 4 being normal oil. I think it would be a waste of money, but thats just my personal opinion. I have no oil analysis info to prove or disprove it.

I currently work for Jiffy lube. No its not gonna hurt. that is what Lucas was designed to do.
