Hello, everyone!

I'm a "new" Explorer owner looking to get some fog lights installed so I can drive on local roads at night and still be able to see. My question is, how difficult is it to install and wire lights? I've read the posts here and have learned a lot, but I'm not sure I'm ready to start drilling and hooking. To give you some indication of my skill level, I was really excited to successfully change my air filter today. ;)

I just don't want to fry my wiring harness and booger up my dash installing some aftermarket switch.

Also, does anyone have any opinions or suggestions on the fog light brackets and fixtures sold by Explorer Express?

Thanks in advance!!

Here are a couple of things to look at:

You might also want to check out KC Hilites . They have wiring diagrams, etc on their site.

don't worry man, you'll do fine. i thought about the same thing when i installed my fogs on my own. now, my friends and i have done exhausts, intakes, cold air boxes, ram air kits, computer chips, strut bars, subwoofers and an underbody neon kit that went on last night (all of that was done to a 2000 Cougar, not my X, i wish though) and 2 air horn kits for my X (its really loud). all of this was done by me (17) and my two friends who are 17 and 20. we aldo do regular maintenance. i never thought we'd be doing this, but with enough time set aside and some help, it'll go real smooth unless ur like my friends and i who always end up working on the cars till after midnight. well, good luck.
