folding side mirrors on LTD

Is there anyway to have the side mirrors fold in whenever you put the Ex in park automatically instead of pressing the fold button manually? It would be nice to have this feature happen automatically when you park in a crowded parking space.

I don't think that is an option. I myself, would not want it. Just think of how many times you put the vehicle into park and all the wear and tear it would put on the mirror motors. I have yet to fold the mirrors, except for the one time I tried it to see it work, and I have had the vehicle almost 4 months now. Granted I don't usually park in a crowded lot either unless I have no choice.

I agree, only time we fold them is pulling into the garage and the other vehicle is to close.

WOW! I press two buttons on entry: mirrors and start/stop. I press two buttons on exit: mirrors and start/stop. I do it every single time.

Someday, we won't have to press any buttons. The vehicle will be hooked up to our brains. Simply think........ mirrors fold. It amazes me how lazy we are getting. Notice I said WE. Yes I'm lazy. Hope everyone is enjoying their ride as much as I am. It's SWEEET. Got a call from Ford Canada. I wasn't home. Not sure what they wanted. Maybe they are going to give me a free one for talking so nice about mine. Which wasn't hard cause it's real nice. Best vehicle I have ever owned.
