"The New York Times is reporting in their cyber law section that Eric Corley is in trouble in the courts again. This time he's being sued by Ford Motor Company for pointing a Dead Link Removed to Ford's website. It will be interesting to see how this comes out in the courts, both sides seem to have some fairly strong arguments."


-- what do you think? Should Ford be suing this individual, or is this "free speach"..?

Tough call. I personally dont think its that big a deal, but I can see Ford's position. They are toying with an avenue that customers use to find information on their products.

Funny story about Disney. A small independant day care had a painting of Mickey Mouse in a mural inside of their facility. Disney sued them and I believe forced them to close because of this small hand painted Mickey Mouse.

Thats a tad extreme I think.
