Hi, I recently Installed Phillips Ultinon Rally LEDs in my explorer 2015 but my headlights seems to be misaligned horizontally which leaves a V-shaped gap right in the center of both beams. I know how to vertically align the lights from the Philips type screw driver and I have done that but can anyone help me with the adjusting the lights to fix the blind area?
I have pictures attached to show the issue.

That is the left right adjustment. I think it was 5.5mm. If you take the fender liners out they can be reached with the proper tools. It's tricky but doable. Make sure the bulbs are installed correctly first or try a different set of bulbs

Welcome to the Forum.
I'm guessing the picture is with high beams. Because your bulbs are brighter, the dark area is likely more pronounced, but was likely always there.
This is from your Owner's Manual;

Vertical Aim Adjustment
The headlamps on your vehicle can only be vertically adjusted. Your vehicle does not require horizontal aim adjustments.

Also, the headlamp housing were designed for Halogen bulbs. Although LED bulbs work better in them than HID, I don't think you can get a perfect alignment with them.

They are adjustable Ford just didn't make it easy to do. I had to do mine when I replaced them. that picture is of the OEM ones that came out of mine.

Vid from shop manaul

I'm telling you if you turn that rod the headlight will move left and right. I know because I did it. That rod is connectted
via a ball and socket the the reflector.

...a V-shaped gap right in the center of both beams.
To me, it appears that the right beam is straight, and the left is angled to the left. I'd check that the left bulb is installed properly.

I cut the vid down, but it said File too large.

The video in the manual is at this link:

The name makes me wonder if this applies to Explorers or just Fusions? It is the same video as linked in my '14 workshop manual.

Either way, I have seen Philips list compatibility with vehicles, PDF lists per bulb, as it takes more than to just be the same bulb form factor aka socket type, to be compatible. They're still illegal for public road use in the US, but the OP is not in the US.

Did Philips list these specific Ultinon Rally bulbs as compatible with a 2015 base Explorer? Does the base model even have projector headlamp housings? I would assume so, but the more things I assume, the more often I am wrong.

That is the exact same video that I have in my Ford Factory Shop manuals for 2018 Ford Explorer, 2019 Ford Taurus, 2016 Ford Taurus, and 2018 Ford Fusion. And the same info in my 2005 to 2006 and 2008 Ford Shop manuals for Ford 500 / Freestyle and 2006 or 2008 Mustang. They are all the same. Got to love Ford. :)
