Solved Ford Paint Colors

Sorry just passing through and wanted the 100th post.

You didn't get it brah.
But in any case is there something besides just googling all the colors to see what they look like. I want to do a total over haul and change my X's color this summer, and I'm trying to see which yellow I like most.

Black stripes yellow paint. Only way to go like the camaro scratch that I ment mustang. Would look good are you doing under the hood, door jam, etc.

I'll do my best but it wont be perfect. I'm going to open the doors and mask off the inside and take off the door panels but I'm not going to be able to do much more than that.but i still have to put together the money and materials first...oh and pick my perfect shade

I have a 2003 Explorer and I was wondering about paint for the bumper. The front bumper clearly has two different colours, the bottom textured part is grey and the top is the rest of your car colour. I am just wondering if the bottom colour is paint or if it is just he colour of the plastic?

If yours is like mine then you will actually have two exterior codes. Check my colors and codes thread it should only be a few below this one. You can c in my door sticker picture that I have two codes

mine is KN which is dark lapis met. i have yet to see another x with this color on it.

I have a '97 4door with the KN paint code (dark lapis metallic) but mine also have the interior color code JV (J-cloth-premium bucket cirrus, V-lapis) and my tape stripe code is B (B-amethyst-blue) and I got it from the original owner for free because he thought the transmission was going out but it was the transfer case that was going out.

Wanted to note that for 1993 Explorer: paint code NA is Dark Tourmaline Metallic (first post lists NB as Dark Tourmaline - maybe non-metallic?)

Also, my 1993 Explorer door label for body (interior) is 16: 1 for Limited bucket seats (per the first post), 6 is Opal Gray per the fox interior color codes guide: https://lmr.com/products/fox-body-interior-color-codes-guide. That sounds right since that interior color is listed in the Explorer brochure.
