Ford recalling 180,000 SUVs ... Door Handle Spring

I thought this was a little funny. Ford is recalling 180,000 Expeditions and Navigators because of faulty door handle springs. Don't all Second Generation Explorer's have this exact same problem, yet there was no recall then.

I have yet to see a 2nd gen which didn't have a driver door handle problem at one time or another-

And I think there is a small difference between a bad spring in a 6 month old truck that could lead to injury and a broken spring in a 13 year old vehicle that snaps after thousands of cycles. I also have the same issue with the driver's door on Snowball...

Door Springs

I have a Explorer Sport Trac 4x4 2001 and my drivers door handle just swings in the wind, I hope there is a recall out here in the Philippines??
If any details guys please let me know and I will be the first in Ford Global City in Manila.

I have yet to see a 2nd gen which didn't have a driver door handle problem at one time or another-

Yeah, I wish my driver door handle didn't just dangle there.

Mine does it too... It stays down but it doesn't feel nice like the passenger side one.

Something else to fix...
