What type of media device are you using? Phone? IPad??
IPhone 4s.

200 is not a lot. If it was 6,000, then there might be an explanation.200 or so and yes it updates. I am using the same settings now and 'm perfectly happy with this now.
After waiting a year for the "Performance Upgrade" I was hoping NONE of the previous bugs would still be present.
If they are still present I don't think any arbitration panel would disagree that we as owners have given Ford a reasonable amount of time to fix the issue.
Thereby classifying the vehicle as a Lemon and returning it for a full refund.
If there are new bugs I will be really surprised given the fact that Ford was quite open about the Upgrade being delayed because they were "Field Testing" with Ford employees.
We will each have to decide on our own whether or not the Upgrade is acceptable, but if some of the key issues like BT intermittent connectivity, BT sound quality, system shut down and reboots while driving are not fixed this will be a deal breaker. I won't be pulling anymore fuses.
The fact that there is still some reduced functionality with the world's most widely used smartphone is baffling to me.
There's no intermittent blue tooth connectivity...
...As such, it really is hit-or-miss when the consumer tries to use this connectivity. Whether it's a BT headset or connecting to a car, it's a roll of the dice. And it is frustrating...very frustrating....
...Regardless, the Lemon Law, at least in NJ, doesn't apply to such a thing.

I assume that you are referring to the iPhone. The issue with the inability to read texts on MFT is not a Ford issue. Apple and certain Android phones do not support the standard MAP Bluetooth protocol. Your question should be directed to the iPhone forum. BMW has the same issue with the iPhone.
My issues have nothing to do with text messaging and I never said anything about that.
Never said you did. Was responding to a post by sgt1411

So based upon the pics posted in this thread, it appears Ford removed the outdoor temp reading that was located next to the clock. Can someone confirm this, and is the outdoor temp displayed anywhere in the new release (on the home screen)?
Thanks!
As far as applying a Lemon Law to a balky entertainment system...seems like a long shot no matter where you are. I mean, if the physical components repeatedly failed and had to be replaced, maybe. But just poorly implemented features? Nah. That's more of a "next time avoid Ford" sort of thing.
Actually, I'm still having the exact same problem with intermittent BT Audio connections. That is, BT Audio mysteriously doesn't work about 20% of the time. The phone is connected via BT, and I can make and receive calls. But music streaming via the media player's BT simply won't work. The only "fix" seems to be shutting off the car for 10 minutes or so. This has happened under 2.8, 2.11, and now the Performance Upgrade.
And yesterday I was driving down the road listening to an audiobook over BT and there was a pause, and then MFT shifted back to FM on its own. I tried to reconnect the media player back to BT and just got "connecting to iPhone...". All the while the Phone quadrant showed my phone connected.
I've had two different phones during this time, an iPhone 4, and an iPhone 4s. Both iPhones, but two different pieces of hardware. The only bluetooth connectivity problems I've had with either phone are with MFT. You can say that it's Apple's fault (even though I have no problems with anything else) but I'd say that a system that can't interface reliably with the market's leading phone has a problem.
It may not be an issue of Ford "figuring it out" as much as Apple not playing along. It is a possibility.

Lets hope iPhone5 uses Wlan with iOS6 and so does MFT v4.0
