from clean trany to idling problem

I frecently had the tranny oil and filter replaced and the trany working like a charm. But all of a sudden it wont stay on or the idling fluctuates till it shuts off. I check with the mechanic to make sure he didnt touch anything else and he didnt. So any ideas????? 93 ford limited

Maybe a vacuum leak? I would check the vacuum modulator on the trans and the line leading to it for a leak.
