Mainly just a picture thread for revenantdead, who was curious about my front bumper.

And sorry for the dirt and unfinished product pictures, these are all I have atm until I actually take some more and finish-finish the bumpers... Still need a bit of work done but they're 'good enuff' as is.

Front bumper - Drivers Side - some smallish gusseting without the back of it boxed.

Profile, protrudes ~4" (iirc) to the front of the bumper before the clevis mounts.

Cant really see it well in this picture, but the plate on top angles down towards the winch just to smooth out the look and styling of the bumper.

Reinforced plate for the winch on the bottom of the bumper - Didnt have any 8"x.250" plate left so I had to make some.

Mount to the frame - These are better now than pictured. I incorporated a skid plate into the frame mounts to stiffen them up as well as to hide them.

Picture of the skid plate, and a slightly better picture of the top styling.

Another overall picture of the front.

Now for some pictures of the rear.

Drove it home all tacked together.

Cut away the chrome plates to allow for a higher rear bumper with wrap around corners.

Basic idea of the rear, no clevis mounts in the picture but it has them now.

Better secured now than pictured, gusset ended up getting boxed and put better weld nuts on (thats why the top bolt isnt tight.. its tight, but ended up getting cross-threaded and left it for the night.)

Another picture of the mount.
n527767268_74126_6606.jpg

Welded and ground smooth.
n527767268_74128_7137.jpg

Rear skid.
n527767268_74127_6879.jpg

Clevis mounts on the rear.

Looks good I would like to build some simmiler for my truck.

Yeah looks good, looks like you spent quite a bit of time on it :)

Yeah they took a few days... or weeks. Working on and off, but got'em doneish. I've been trying to make a lot of my things look good for streeting, even with all my buddies saying my truck is a pavement queen. Don't really care all that much so long as its functional and looks good lol

man those look so good theres a offroad dealership near me and there a few trucks they are starting to put bumbers similar to those you did a good job man

Sweet... Looks good...

I don't even want to think about starting mine, with a tire carrier.

Im still trying to think of a tire carrier for mine, don't want it to look too similar to some of the ones around here locally. :)

nice kins... by the way i was the one inquiring... i just got my hands on the performance accessories 3 " lift so i suppose i could do just about the same thing.

what size are your wheels/rims? 15x?

35x12.50R15 are the tires, Mickey Thompson MTZs, and the wheels were just a 4" backspace 15x10 wheel. Hopefully getting some bead locks soon now that the truck is *almost* done, just working on building my 347. Sorry for the late response!

not to dig on old threads but you got any recent pics of your bumpers? i love the rear bumper...
