03 explorer failed pa inspection for lower front rear control arm bushing on driver side. Is there a sticky somewhere showing how to replace it? I disassembled both ball joints, spindle, cv joint and stabilizer bushings. I could not get the bolts to break for the strut or the front control arm bushing. I wedged a piece of wood between the arm and frame but I could not get the bushing off because it was rusted solid. I finally used a sawzaw and cut the bushing casing and whacked it multiple times with a hammer until it finally broke free. My question is, is there an easier way of doing this job, and what is the torque specs for the bushing bolts that secures it to the frame? Thanks bizzs
