Read alot about changing Fuel filter, when should I change the spark plugs..

I change the fuel filter once a year on my ex.If the plugs are original at 99k it's time to change them.I just did mine on my 5.0.It's easier if you jack up the front of the truck and pull off the front tires. You can then go through the wheel wells with a long extension and a wobbly plug socket to get to most of the plugs.Saves a lot of skin off your hands.Don't forget to use safety stands.

If you are going to do the plugs, do the wires while you are at it. Don't forget the PCV valve and air filter.

Believe it or not my ex still has the original ford numbered wires on it.192K miles and runs perfectly.
