Alright experts, I'm in deep need for some help. I decided to buy a fuel pressure tester this weekend and run a test on the system. Is it normal for the system to complete bleed off pressure in 10 minutes? When I turn the key pressure jumps up to about 60 psi with a small fall off in pressure until I start. When the engine is running I get 65-70 psi which per the ford manual is the correct pressure for operation. When I turn the key off pressure drops to 55-60 psi and slowly continues to decreases until reaches 0 ten minutes later. Any insight on what the system should do would be great! Thanks

A drop in pressure happens to my ST from 70 psi down to 45 to 50 psi and stays there for hours, never reaching zero.
You have a leaky fuel injector or back flow through the fuel pump or bad connection inside the fuel tank.

you either have a leak somewhere, or your gauge is faulty. i bought a cheap one at harbor freight a while back and it leaked on the first try.
