Gas mileage

I've searched the archives to no end on this topic and can't find any good solutions. My gas mileage is just horrendous and it seems even worse then it should be. My average is around 12 MPG, most of which is light city driving. I never get it past 3000 RPMs, I coast up to stoplights, my tires are properly inflated, everything seems to be running well, I've got a K&N filter. What am I doing wrong or what's broken on my Ex? anything on the emissions control system.... just do a search! there is soooooo much on bad mileage.... i have seen and responded to a couple therads today alone!
