Gear drive for Cam Shaft???

Will any of the commonly available 302 gear drive setups work with the explorer 302??

It seems the timing cover on the explorer 302 is different from say a 302 in a full size car or truck???

Why would you do that? Just for the gear whine?

I asked if they would fit, and yes they sound cool and are more reliable than chains!!
