Gearbox help needed.

I'd like to know that.. Can I install some other gearbox to my 94 year explorer. Because my gearbox doesn't want to co-operate with me. :roll:
And something more: How much costs a gearbox and it's sending froma US to Estonia.

Hi wolff, you're talking about a transmission? The automatic transmissions in Explorers are the weak point, for sure. If you search this forum, you will find much information about repairing yours.
There are also ways to swap in other transmissions, but it seems like a bigger problem for you to accomplish from overseas.

To answer this question YES A 5 speed was available on 1991-1994 Explorers
and if i am correct it was also available on the Explorer Sport till 1998 i think:scratch:
