Getting a paint job???

I recently helped my neighbor paint his Mustang. The only time we used water was during the body work stage to tell where there were uneven areas or bumps we couldn't see.

I'm with Monmix, I don't see the point in spraying the paint only to sand it off. We sprayed a few good layers and then sanded it lightly with a high high grit paper. We were also spraying White paint which I hear is pretty easy to spray. Also the time for the drying would take forever. Especially if you're in a humid area.

Edit: We did use water at the end after we sprayed and sanded it to help get rid of any dust. But I don't count this, this was used for cleanup along with compressed air.
