Going in for a paint job!!

Thanks for the compliments.

I won't know when the articles will be published until after the shoots. I'll keep everyone informed. I bet they won't run for 4 to 6 months from the time they shoot the film.

NICE!! Not in a pumpin patch, but looking good. Just out of curiosity, do they pay you for the shoot? Good publicity for the site. Maybe some sponsors will head your way and get some of the money back you've invested. Again, looks good Rick.

Awesome!

Rick, unbelievable! I am sure your rig stands out even more when seen in person.

And the "shorts" story was too much! I guess we need to edit the "Trail Equipment" article to include another item, huh? I think you shoulda gone ahead and competed. I bet you would have left an unforgetable impression on all the spectators....

Wow. I must say, I'm speechless. I'll have to pick up the mags when you're rig is published. Ya done good, Rick!

Man, Rick, that looks great. Absolutely great!!! I hope that all 3 magazines do a feature. Maybe mag one could do the next Truckhaven or Moab trip. Color me there even in my lowrider. :)

That's too nice of a paint job to go wheeling in!!

Looks really nice, everything is so professional. Way to go.

Nice paint dude!

I just saw Rick's truck today and does it ever look fantastic! The orange paint really suits the truck. I can't believe how huge it is since I saw it last. Tomorrow we are going to go for a ride.

Paul - ask him to find you some snow. If you had gone on the rubicon this weekend, you'd be in about 8" of snow tonight.

WOW

Well, if I had to give it a name, I would pay tribute to Charles Shultz and dub thee "The Great Pumpkin". Other than that, what an AWESOME look. Now that you have every cops attention, slow down.

Hood Liner.....Insulation

I've searched the archives, but can't find any reference to the hood liner, or insulation on the underside of the hood of my 93 XLT. Mine needs to be replaced before heat affects the paint, and I am curious if anyone has any suggestions. Do I just buy one from Ford, or is there an improved product I should search for?

Thanks

The Finishing Touch

Rick, you'll need to get some matching orange and black color and paint a Jack'O Lantern on your rear diffy. Then you'd have a pumpkin on the Great Pumpkin's pumpkin. :smoke:

Might as well do it yourself. If you don't, it might get done for you anyway :D

Like this?

It's the great pumpkin, Charlie Brown. :)

Rick -

WOW - - Looks great!! Any chance of a corporate sponsorship from Hooters??

Best of luck with the magazines.

Paul

Truck looks AMAZING!!! I was sketchy at first on the paint job but now I think it looks really nice! I also think it would look really crazy with clears all around. Just a suggestion. Congrats again!

I took this shot of Paul (Indiana Jones) Gagnon and his father today while we were out playing in the Arizona desert. Paul came down for a visit from Calgary, Canada.

Rick....I notice a gap between the hood and grille...is this one of the gaps you were talking in the thread about the whole fiberglass front setup?
