Well the ole Explorer, seems to be getting tired and towing just seems to be more of a struggle for it anymore than it should be. Plus I like to leave the sway bars disconnected on it for off road.
I love Fords but not a big fan of the 4.6 and 5.4's that was offered in the older used F-150's so I bought an 03 Chevy 1500 LS 4X4 with 285HP and 325 ft/lb torque 3.73 limited slip so it obviously tows great for what I do, max of 8400LB towing capacity. It only had 63k miles on it when I picked it up. For a factory sound system it sounds pretty descent, and has tweeters in the pillars.
