Going insane! WARN manual hubs.

I just want to see a close up iof the spindle, spindle nuts and rotor assembly with the wheel and hub off, possibly on both sides.

A picture is worth 10000000 words....

Strangeness abounds!

Get a new set, see if it happens again.
Do you have a digi camera?
I want to see a picture of your spindle with the wheel and hub off.

Ok, here we go. I don't know if you caught my post about hauling the f250.. ( http://www.explorerforum.com/forums/showthread.php?p=1349968#post1349968 )
But.. after I did that, I hit the sack and woke up early to go off and get my new hub. Just for ***** n grins, I twisted the hubs to lock. And be damned if they didn't work perfectly. I'm scratchin my head on this one. I don't know what to make of it. They now both solidly lock into free AND have a fair amount of resistance moving from "lock"

"Im flummoxed peanut.. I just don't know how to respond to that."

:D

TNR:

It isn't unheard of to have a hub go bad after the first or second use. When I converted to manual hubs my drivers side went bad on the third useage. Got new ones under warranty and all has been well since.

Good luck.
