Going to the track tonight, help me lose some weight

Good thread. I, too, am saving weight but permanently though. :D Lots of good info here.

Can you track it without the rear hatch? If not atleast the rear glass. I bet its pretty heavy.
 


















Now you got me thinking...

Drive that thing over a scale if you can. I remember pulling out all of my seats, it's that little stuff that adds up once i had a big pile of parts.

You look like you got it pretty well stripped down, just make sure the gas tank is about 1/8 full, lose the battery and just take a jump start LOL.

How is your fan wired up? Not for weight but for power, do you run a low pressure fan clutch at the track? I know my heavy duty job sounds like a piece of farm equipment and has to be robbing me of some power.

I got it weighed this morning 4140lbs without me in it. That's with a little under 1/8th of a tank of gas, it also had the passenger side plastic, and rear carpet back in it to keep everything balanced. I'll go weigh it again when I put the seats, the spring loaded panel deals and the stereo back in it.
