Only got one run in because it's a good hour from my house and I've been up since 3 am today so I didn't want to wait 30+ mins to get another run in. This was my first time at the track and it was definitely fun, can't wait to get out there again sometime.

Anyway, my time was:

RT: .8369
60ft: 2.0719
330ft: 6.2300
1/8 ET: 9.8030
1/8 MPH: 68.18
1/4 ET: 15.6212
1/4 MPH: 80.19

I don't think I had any traction issues....it just looks like my top end is weak....I expected that thought because I'm still using the stock ECU with no tuning. Not for much longer though!

Anyone know what 1/4 mile a stock first gen will run? All of those mods and no chip?!?! :nono: :p Once you've got that chip burnt for yours...you should really wake up that thing.

What track?

Times look solid. Get that E/T down. What gears are you running? With times like that you really caught up in the upper range. To even it out go with some lower gears

I did 2 dyno pulls right before going to the track...here it is:

The blue curves are with my FMU hooked up. Since it ran so rich with the FMU, it was causing a loss of power and we disconnected it for the second run....the 24# injectors are good enough for my setup.

I have 3.73 gears right now. I think to help lighten the truck up I'm going to swap out the 4wd front suspension for a 2wd one.

by your times I would move up to 4:10. By the first 1/8 to second, you were alot quicker in the last 1/8 than normal going to the average 1.68 ratio. 2wd swap will gain alot as I saw a major improvent.

You're 4wd!?!?! Yeah, a 2wd swap would be worth it in your case. (I can't believe I just said that :p) Sounds like some good plans for it, as well as some pretty decent numbers for your setup.

Yeah I'm gonna drop that heavy front suspension and sell it to someone on here probably :)

Once I get things tuned well, I'm going to add water/methanol injection and fine tune that, then top it all off with a 45 shot of nitrous.

I really am not so concerned about the HP number I really am more interested in the torque and torque band since these trucks are so heavy. I figure since nitrous is so good at producing torque down low that will help me get off the line even faster.

You seem to have good traction. That 2.0 60 is great. I'm a bit shocked though the thing was only mid 15's. With those kind of mods I would have thought it be in the 14's somewhere.
I'd holdoff on the 2wd swap. Get everything tuned & get the NOS, & see what you can do. It's nice to say "hey my 91 4wd X does this at the track" :D
I've been with my Acura & get no traction. I get 2.3 60's but still do low 14's.

I still have a few other tricks up my sleeve....I have an E-Fan waiting to go in and I am going to relocate my intake tube so that the filter is right behind the front bumper.....right now it's still pulling hot air from under the hood. Those might help a bit.

heres my time from a couple of week ago. stock X besides cone filter and flowtech muffler.

reaction----.9039
60ft--------2.6209
ET@594ft---10.9530
1/8ET-------11.7140
1/8MPH------59.13
1/4ET--------18.3420
1/4MPH-------74.37

keep in mind this is with full tank of gas and full system. my X weight was 4788lbs with me in the seat. i was up shifting it and was shifting into drive just as i was crossing the finish line. this was the last run of the night and my best. the best part was that i wasn't the slowest that night.

after my last pass i turned on the system and bumped all the way though the pits. your box is light compared to mine at about 100lbs. plus it was a last minute mind change to run the track because i went to watch my friend run his R1. one problem was my air filter was pretty dirty and i didn't notice till the next day.

I just have to figure out why my HP curve is so flat. I mean....it's not bad for it to be flat it just needs to go a lot higher before it flattens out. It is hard to read the graph but the one in my photo gallery is better if you pick the larger version of "Dyno3."

I'm going to step down to the smallest blower pulley I can find and hook up the water injection next week and then do some tuning with my new ECU. Hopefully that will flatten out the torque curve up top and pick up the HP curve also.

My goal when I'm totally done is low 14's in the 1/4 in full street trim.
