I do not have the wear issues or ride issues with my 35" MTR's they ruide just fine on the highway, they are noisy, but hey it s BII on 35's what do you want? no cab noise?
Same here. They are much better than my 35" BFG M/T KM both on and off road in my opinion.

I should have said they are the best riding MT I have had on the highway and otherwise, if you want a highway tire dont get an MT :)

i want an MT for sure. I like the way they look, plus being 2wd i need all the traction help i can get. I dont mind paying the extra money for a good tire. Hopefully i can get my explorer back together and go pick these up before he sells them to someone else. This aussie locker install is killing me....

I have heard they plug up in the good but I have never had problems with them in mud or snow, but I dont like mud all that much so its not my type of wheeling.

Around my part of the country, it is not like we have a choice... We can go from rock to goo in 30 yards.

Just ask Rick or Jefe... :D

we just have goo on top of streets around here hahaha

That was THE most fun wheeling in the mud that I've had  . . . mostly because I was in someone elses rig. :D I hate cleaning up mud. :p:

Yup - I hate cleaning up as well...

The "mud" at the Badlands is different from the clay we have further south in Kentucky. At the Badlands, tires would still clean out. Where we live, no way... I've even seen boggers plugged up until you really get on it, which is hard to do in the woods... Finding a tire that will run that poo-goo is a whole 'nother deal... And MTR's are about as bad as ATs in that stuff.

Good tire, but are noisy and ride like crap on the highway. :(

Wow stick-o, My MTR's ride much better than my BFG's ever did on the highway

I love my 37" MTR's they ride awesome, and i think they would last a while, my explorer is spooled in the rear i have had them for about 8 months and my rears are about half worn, my fronts look brand new, i would def buy again.

One thing to remember GoodYear did not name them an MTR for Mud Tire, it stands for Maximum Traction Reinforced.

Thanks everyone for the input. Un fortunatley due to issues with a botched locker install i have to replace my rear end so i wont be able to get these tires at this point, but i will keep them in mind when i buy new tires in a few months.
