When i pressed my 4x4 button, I had no lights at all. I took the electric motor off the transfer case and cleaned it up. When I pressed the 4X4 button i could see the motor spin. When I pressed low range nothing happened. Could this be the switch on the dash? Also after I initially put the electric motor on nothing happened. I back the bolts off a little bit and then it worked. Should i put washers on the bolts, or should i just not tighten them alot? Feels great that I got it to work without payin someone a few bills. ;)

Is the transmission in neutral (if auto) or the do you have the clutch disenaged (if manual) while attempting to go into low range?

yea it was in neutral. the 4x4 stopped working again. But I took it apart and cleaned it alot better this time. Then i took it offroad worked great. I just got the truck about a month ago so this was the first time I was able to use the 4X4 and i had some fun with it. But I definately had it in neutral and low range just wouldn't work. I would press the button and i wouldn't see or hear anything.

I forgot to mention that after I cleaned the transfer motor. I kept it off of the transfer case and I turned on the X, pressed the 4x4 button and i saw the little cap in the middle of the motor turn. Then I tried low range, I was in neutral with the brake depressed, and nothing happened. I'm thinking it may be the switch. I don't see how it could be the motor, what could possibly break inside the motor?

If you actually saw the motor turn, I don't see how it could be broken. I would suspect a loose wire in the wire connector on the 4X4 switch.

did you try to see if your control module work properly?try with the white botton, the red light must flash 3 or 4 times.
in this site you will find the description of this test.

Low Range is now working. I had a loose wire on the control module. I must have accidentaly pulled on the wires when I did the test on the module. Thanx for the help

works now your low range?

yep everything works now
