Got my red Ford Emblems back

I ordered these about 3 weeks ago. Got them back yesterday, Saturday. Can't wait to clean up my Red Explorer and put these on. What do you think?

WOW...... I will figure this one out. I am not paying 100 for this mod when my paint guy will do it for 15.00. Now just to figure out how to open the emblem.

LOL, it is kind of pricy to say the least. But Ford has some emblems that can be taken apart, they are actually 2 pieces. That is what these are, and they are brand new ones, not some with bug guts already installed, LOL. I calculated it all up, price for shipping, paint, a pair of new ford emblems and it came out that he did make some bucks, but not as much as I first thought. I gave someone else 20 bucks to do this for me and it was like throwing a 20 out the window doing 70mph through downtown Houston. He messed it up bad.

Where did you locate these 2 piece emblems?

I got the price of them from Ford. They actually say "2 piece" on the back of them. And at my discount with Ford, if I bought the 2 emblems, mailed them to someone to paint, say for 10 each, then mail them back, it was still pretty costly with no guarantee on how they would look. That is why I decided to do the deal with Scott Deel, his work is guaranteed and I love them, they look better in person than on pics.

:smoke: Ron those will look to die for, Muscat racing on the web has them in all sorts of colors, cannot remember the prices, I went CF as I am into the blacked out look, get some pics up when yours are mounted.
Reminds me of an old joke, Old lady had two squrrirls (SP) as pets, they both die, she takes them to the taxidermast, he says, would you like to have them mounted? she says, no, eating nuts would be fine

i will agree scott deal does an AWESOME job with the emblems, i had order some one time but then sent them back after finding out how to do my own, but when i did them they didn't look nearly as good as scotts did, pricy but it may be worth the money to some
