Got Paint happy with the 97.

Got really bored in the garage today, found a can of semi-gloss black paint and decided to try my skills out.

Painted the side trim that always seems to be dull and "Grayish".

Also painted the "Silver" section of the grill black. Not sure on this one, I dont like the way it looks. Does look better than the Silver that was all faded though.

What do you fellow explorer forum users think?

I really like the center section of the grille painted black! I'm biased, though, since my '97 looks just like that;-)

I like it I did both of those last year. The side door pillars was a must. The black in the grill you should post a pic of it father away outside i am curious to see what it works like. I did a new grill last year and the chrome parts are fine still but the gray where you have painted the black is flaking off because it has the chrome paint under it and it wasn't prepped or anything.
