Bosch platnium 2s are like moving back in technology, i think your truck came with platinum projected tip plugs (mine did) to upgrade i'd go to a Iridium oem style projected tip plug. such as autolite or ngk ect iridium plugs, you only get one spark but its large and hotter doing much better then a bosch plat 2 could do. that and when you share voltage between prongs it just makes 2 or 4 weaker sparks.

I'm sure someone will chime in to tell me i'm wrong but beleave what you want and check out the new technology before putting in the old stuff.

Yup-you also back stepped with your coils--

Ok Im not trying to second guess you in any way, But I bought the msds and they were
.53 ohms
Secondary Resistance: 12.8K ohms
Maximum Voltage:
40,000 volts
Inductance: 5.8 mH
Turns Ratio: 83:1

and the Accel were
Primary Resistance: 0.500 ohms
Coil Internal Construction: Epoxy
Maximum Voltage: 42,000 V
Turns Ratio: 85:1
Secondary Resistance: 11.6K ohms

What is the difference because I want the best performance!
is it the ohms cause Im not sure?

oh and Yes Iam getting better plugs

these the best I can find

Get the NGK Iridium IX, or Bosch Platinum+4.

theres nothing wrong with the champion plugs... NGK plugs are about the same but cost more, i run autolite iridium plugs but i get a discount on autolite products so i use them for about anything i can get

Ok I just got those Champion Plugs today and I already installed the coil packs. Oil, Fuel filter.. Still waiting for the MAC CAI and I just bought a 70mm throttlebody..

Heres a second question, How hard is it to replace the plugs, Ive done many b4 but on the Mounty theres alot more stuff, especially on the passengerside around cylinder number 3 and 4. I guess a extension with a swivel or 2?
And I Already ordered the Taylor 8.2s but they are back ordered until 9/2 so Im gonna do the both at the same time..

yes--jack up the front-remove the tires (this will open up the world for you) and go in from there--
45 minutes max--don't forget to retorque the wheels after driving on them for a minute--

thanks for the info

I'm guessing that with stock wheels/tires you don't need to take the tires off. I'm pretty sure my wheels were still on when I changed plugs.

it gives you more room, but i ahd to take mine off well because my mounty is lowered ;)
