I just brought a Kenwood KNA-G510 navigation sytem to go with my Kenwood DDX touchscreen head unit. This is the first GPS unit I have ever owned. Can anyone tell me a good inside location to mount the antenna? If you have a picture of where you mounted the unit and antenna it would be very helpful. The unit is small about wallet sized, I will probably mount it in the dash. I just need a good place to mount the antenna. All and any pictures would be great.

There's a space above the radio that works just fine. I mounted my with some 3M double sided mounting tape.

I wish my TomTom came with an external antenna, sometimes i'll turn it on when I get in my explorer, and it will "Search for valid satellite signals" for up to like 10 minutes was the longest one time...Its mounted on my dash, RIGHT under the windshield, so its not like its hidden from anything lol.
