GPS V Mod Question?

I purchased a GPS V it works great but the screen is a little small.
I was thinking of mounting a 7"Screen between the visors to watch DVD's & VCD's. I was wondering if it would be possible to hook my GPS up to the Screen.

The GPS has 4 pins....
1-positive(power)
2-negative(ground)
3-data in
4-data out

Could I splice into the data out and into my video 2 for the screen. Or data in & data out into the Larger Screen?

Is there some way that I can use the 7" screen as a extra screen for the GPS. I know I'll still be controling the GPS from the GPS buttons anyway.

Has anyone tried this?

I haven't tried this - but here's a few recources that I'd check out. Ask many questions - they'll all have answers for you. Your plan sounds right, but I'm not the definative answer on this one!
