Went to the junk yard and got me some tow hooks. From the reading on here it seemed to be that the older F150s had the best since they were cast and the bracket is actually welded to the hook.
Went and picked them up this morning. Came with mounting hardware and all. Though I think I will go ahead and buy some grade 8 bolts to bolt them on.
Just going to clean them up and slap some paint on them.

Best part about it the jy charged me nothing for them.
He said just come back and see us, I made sure he didn't want anything for them and he said nope we never sell any of them anyway.

Looking forward to throwing them on this evening after the paint drys

All finished and in grand total it cost me $10.
I used some Rust-o-leum Hammered metal finish on them and bought 4 Grade 8 bolts and washers. Easy install. And well worth the $10 if you ask me.

Very subtle, looks good!

How old of an F150 would give you Tow Hooks that could be used??

I got mine from a 99.
They changed the body style in 97 So I would assume you could go back at least that far.

Thanx. Black92LX, I will be on the look out for an F150 in that year range.
