I put my truck into 4wheel drive the other day, and drove back and forth on the side of my house, just to keep everything clean inside the t-case. Well I went to put it into lowrange and it wouldnt go. I was in nuetral and was at a complete stop. Then I pressed it again, and it made this loud grinding-banging noise, and went into lowrange. It did the normal jump forward. I put it into gear and it seemed like it was in lowrange, because it was rolling fast. So I took it out of lowrange and it banged and grinded again. I did this a few more times thinking it was dirty since I havent used it in a while. And it did it every time. What is wrong with it. And what is causing the grinding noise?
