hey everyone i have a 02 explorer xls where would the factory amp be located if i even have one and where would be a good place to ground my amp for my subs
Any bare metal spot can be used as a ground. The best place is on the chassis itself. Just make sure that you sand off any paint or finish on your grounding point.
um if memory serves me right the 02's don't have a factory amp, but I'll let someone with a 02 tell you that. I just know at some point they quit putting factory amps in and started using internal amps in the head unit, possibly 99 they stopped?
