Best places I have found so far to eat in Des Mines

1) Rubes Steakhouse
2) Famous Dave's

A more serious note...

How do you get to the bulbs for the rear defrost and fogs?

Both bulbs are out.

I don't think you can replace the bulbs. You will most likely have to replace the switches themselves.

Have you ate at the Iowa Machine Shed yet? You won't go away hungry:thumbsup:

I guess i'm not cool enough to be in the Mounty club since i've only had mine for 3 days :(

:D

You can join the club as long as you are not a KU fan:D

They took me to the machine shed on my first interview trip.

How do you get the bezel off?

I'll do some looking. I know there is a thread on here that shows how to.

If memory serves me correctly you just about have to take the whole left side of the dash apart.

Here you go.

Dead Link Removed

This thread actualy shows how to remove the gauge cluster & install white face gauges but the first few steps will explain how to remove the radio trim piece.

Thanks!

I cannot play like that yet---still on the stock PCM:(

Taco Johns...mmmmm none up here. :(

George the Chilli King is an old drive in. It has gone down hill in the last couple of years. It's at 63rd & Hickman I beleive. I can drive right to it I just can't remember the street names.

I know where Clive is. We've eaten at the Toco Johns several times. There is a good Chinese Buffet across from the Village in about 3-4 blocks south of the Taco Johns. Man I'n getting hugry:D

Im originally from Nebraska, grew up on TJ, I spent 6 mo in KC in 05 working for pre-American Racing, Weld. (not far from Raytown btw) That was the last time I had TJ....Then I had to go and read this thread....Im so sad.

Man this has to be one of the most hijacked threads of all time.

I think it's about time for "Harvey" to apear. What does evryone say?

the "bulbs" are actualy LED's they shouldn't be burned out... pull off the face plate, just the 2 screws under the radio, i believe they're 1/4 in. then just pop off the face, i've had to do it a million times. check your wires. when screwing it back on dont tighten them to much, u can crack the face.
