Last night me and my frined decided we wanted to do some wheelin. there is really no legal places around me so i decided to just go drive through some snoe mounds, and climb stuff. I tried to drive throubh a snoe mound and then realized it was a ditch. I could move back and forth about 30 feet, but i just couldn't get it to pull out of the ditch. After about 20 miinutes of rocking it it finally got to icy and i couldnt move anymore. So it was about midnight so i couldnt call anyone, so me and my friend had to walk 3 miles in like 10 degree weather to go get my ranger. It pulled it right out. ended up gettin 6 hours of sleep, then goin to my weight lifting class adn throwing up because i was to tired to get up and eat before. No more wheeling on a school night.

and you call it wheeling? That's more like playing stupid in the snow... I've been there before... during storms of 1985 lots of snow and very cold and me turning dougnuts in the parking lot... but back then I used to drive a 1971 Olds Cuttlas. Anyways - At least I hope you have learned your lesson.. especially walking for 3 miles in deep freeze...

next time be more careful,

chalk it up to experience, buddy. when you grow older you'd look back at this as the good ol' days. :D

I did the same thing the other day, just under different circumstances. I stopped to help a guy that was stuck in the ditch already and I got sucked down in it too. I got pulled out by guy in a freakin' 2 wheel drive dakota. Talk about embarassing. It was funny too when I got out to lock my hubs in the tires on the passenger side had a good foot of snow over top of them, this was a deep drifted ditch, I had to kick a bunch of snow out of the way and practically stand on my head to lock the hub.

Hey it could have been alot worse. Once in high school my girl friend and I were out driving around in the middle of nowhere...not going to do anything of course ;) and I got my old 2wd (really 1wd) ranger hung up on a sheet of ice. We had to walk to a farm house and call her parents....damn that was quite ride home hahahaha.

Could have been worse :)

Today my friend decides to show me off, by making it through the same place my explorer got stock in his 95 f250 4x4. I ended up pulling him out with my explorer he barely even made it anywhere. So after I pulled him out i showed him off and made i further through the snow mound in my stock 91 explorer with 170,000 miles. he had to put hios truck into reverse because i couldn't get enough traction to pull him out, but i thought ok he has an f250 i just neeed to put it in nuetral and he will be able to pull me out, i was wrong i also had to put it in reverse. I with i had a camera with me.

Never seen an F-250 do good in the mud. They never have wide enough tires or no mud tires and just go straight down. Funny to watch but usually a chore to get them out. Where you from boob? For some reason I think I might know you.

I got hung up on a pile in a parking lot not to long ago. Bad idea but thought i could make it. What's with dakotas and f-250s in theis thread? A 2wd Dakota tried to pull me out, but to no avail. An f-250 deisel, spun all four tires to get me off that stupid mound!

Ended up with cold feet, a bruised ego, and a transfer-case skid-plate bent up and touching the case itself! That sure made alot of noise on the way home.

Oh well at least I wasn't pulled put by a chevy (eeek):D
