Anyone else notice if you accelerate quickly and maybe turn a little at the same time the wheel wants to pull out of your hands, i have never owned a vehicle that does this - the vehicle wants to slightly go off in a different direction, cant describe it but you must know what i mean?

what is this?

why?

if its a 2011 vehicle, its fwd and that called torque steer.

FWD = torque steer

Why are you accelerating so hard? lol

That is normal on front wheel drive cars !!!

well thanks for the answers, i dont like it at all...have driven other front wheel drive cars and never felt it before

Yes, very normal on FWD cars, also, if you are attempting to "go fast" through the turn, the Ex is equiped with "Curve Control", which applies brakes as needed to slow you down. Did you feel any deceleration at all? Every good FWD car needs a E-brake handle to counter the torque steer< yeah!

It's less pronounced with less power. A 1994 escort will have virtually no torque steer in comparison.

Switch to sand mode and it will cut out some torque steer and get rid of that pesky gasoline faster.
